Landscape Architect/Designer

Carpenter Costin Tree & Landscape is currently looking for a full-time landscape architect/designer with a minimum of 3 years direct experience working on and managing high-end residential design/build projects. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starting, creative problem solver. We are conveniently located on Route 1 South in Danvers, MA.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: One location

8-hour shift

• Thoughtful and creative approach to design with the ability to generate multiple unique solutions; development of proposed site plans, grading plans and planting plans
• Experience with design/build projects including all aspects of landscape construction including patios, walkways, walls, and plantings
• Excellent crew and project management experience
• Thorough understanding and practical experience with all facets of the design process from concept design to finished plans and construction detailing
• Demonstrated mastery of technical skills including grading and drainage
• Proficiency with DynaScape required
• Comprehensive knowledge of landscape plant material and experience in developing proposed planting plans
• Practical field skills including existing site conditions review and documentation, development of design base plans, establishment of elevations and field layout of proposed construction elements
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to clearly and effectively present design ideas to clients
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• 3 years direct experience in sales and management of residential design/build projects
• Current driver’s license
